Ryan has also participated in many fundraising concerts to support the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, Vancouver hospitals and social programmes, and elementary schools in China in need of funding. The talented child prodigy has performed at numerous events including the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Yundi Li's New Year Concert (Beijing), Canadian Prime Minister's residence and Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). Currently, he is under tutelage at Collingwood school in Vancouver Canada. A prolific performer, he has won top honors and scholarships in numerous Canadian and International Competitions. Ryan began playing piano at the age of four and was a student of Professor Lee Kum Sing at the Vancouver Academy of Music since 2014. In 2013, Ryan was awarded the First Place and Judges’ Distinction in American Protégé International Music Talent Competition and was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall at the age of five.
